That still seems new to me. Anything that happened after, say, 1975 seems recent. There are still movies from the 80's that I haven't gotten around to seeing yet.Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01044265862232128796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484626660177622626.post-23813090192275107902008-05-27T01:14:00.000+01:002008-05-27T01:14:00.000+01:00Perhaps bible-bashing is America's main underlying...Perhaps bible-bashing is America's main underlying problem?

Perhaps if they gave up believing in 'incarnations of childish superstitions' (as Einstein described all religions), they might emerge from the Dark Ages wherein they currently reside!

Cheers!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484626660177622626.post-74325406205793953532008-05-26T18:21:00.000+01:002008-05-26T18:21:00.000+01:00Since when has Republican reliance, in part, on re...Since when has Republican reliance, in part, on religious people been new? That's not new, but the whole thing has been so ratcheted up by the Republican dependence on the Religious Right as their voting base. That's newer. It's gotten real ugly. The McCain called people who were less extreme than Hagee (at least in public) "agents of intolerance" a few years ago and won the hearts of a lot of indepents. Now he has to crawl back to them for their GOTV efforts.Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01044265862232128796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484626660177622626.post-17998648478161573482008-05-26T01:47:00.000+01:002008-05-26T01:47:00.000+01:00Makes you wonder how much Church and State REALLY ...Makes you wonder how much Church and State REALLY are separated at times...

All these nutters coming out of the woodwork - it's almost funny!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484626660177622626.post-35652118181744915422008-05-26T00:36:00.000+01:002008-05-26T00:36:00.000+01:00True but haven't read of any atheists causing eith...True but haven't read of any atheists causing either of them problems yet.Falling on a bruisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05518409624331248084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2484626660177622626.post-60639115794353888702008-05-25T23:23:00.000+01:002008-05-25T23:23:00.000+01:00Generally speaking, I'd say that both extremes of ...Generally speaking, I'd say that both extremes of the religious question are equally as dangerous.Aaronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10852642278050989281noreply@blogger.com
