Who can forget when US grocery chain Trader Joe’s announcing a 'genius new invention' which they have called 'puff dogs' which turned out to be a plain old sausage roll and now they are at it again with a Patso Burger.
To excitable, and unhealthy, Americans, this amazing new food is fries inside a sandwich or as we have called it for centuries, a chip butty.
I don't begrudge anyone a chip sandwich, tomato sauce or salad cream is optional, but not sure you can lay claim to inventing something that we have been sold in Fish & Chip shops since Fish & Chip shops were invented.
I can't wait to see their reaction when they finally discover kettles and how to make a proper cup of tea.
I prefer coffee but cold tea?? We chuck it away when it goes cold.
