Heard whinge that Christmas starts to early. Check

Yep, its still only September but already the Christmas vibe is beginning although if i had my way one Christmas would run into the next one and the decorations would never be taken down, i did make a suggestion that we have a half-way Christmas in July but apart from Hallmark and Australia, nobody here took me up on it but small acorns (or chestnuts) and all that.
It is that time of year when the Halloween stuff is on the shelves alongside the Christmas decorations in the shops but once we get past October 31st and then Bonfre Night on 5th November then its full steam ahead for Christmas although my husband and i do have the small matter of a Covid delayed European Tour in November and i have been eyeing the Weather Apps because one of those places has to have snow in November, i've bought some very fancy winter snow boots and hate to think i wasted my money when i could have worn normal, not fur lined boots and spent the money on something sensible.
So its onwards and downwards into Winter although with the spiraling costs of electric, it might not be quite so sparkly as many homes may leave the Christmas lights in their box this year.
