Repurposing The Christmas Tree

A few years ago we had a real Christmas tree but ironically it didn't only not look like the actual Christmas trees we were used to but we were finding pine needles in the carpet until Summer so we have always had the artificial plastic ones ever since and in the cupboard we have quite a selection of different sizes, one of the smaller ones i used to put presents under for our July mid-year Christmas but the rest will be left to take up space until one of us gets around to dragging it down to the bin but in some homes they are being dragged out and given a hellish makeover for Halloween.
Forget tinsel, angels and candy canes and think bats, cobwebs, skulls, black baubles and pumpkins because the Halloween Tree seems to be catching on (more than my mid-summer Christmas idea anyway) and the Christmas tree gets a second annual outing .
Halloween always seem so much more of an American thing but a Halloween Tree could become a new British tradition which is currently buying a load of sweets and then turning off all the lights and eating them in the dark while ignoring the doorbell.
If All Saints Eve is not your thing then alongside the skeletons and witches is all the early Christmas Stuff so you could make an start on your Christmas  shopping, its only 86 days away you know or 2 pay days for those of us paid monthly.
