The baby was Spencer Elden and in an interview with The Guardian he handed out one of the best quotes of music history: 'I'm so glad that it wasn’t for something like a Backstreet Boys album'. Classic.
Spencer explains how his parents were paid $200 to throw him in a swimming pool and let someone take photo's of him.
Spencer is now 24 and mentions that he would like to re-enact the famous photo for the 25 years celebrations at which point i felt incredibly old and stopped reading.
