Spice For The Local Elections

Local Elections are generally not that exciting and turnout is very low but this time around things may have a bit of spice as the big two parties are not having a great time.
After 14 years of Conservative Rule, they were yanked out of Office with one of the worst set of results in their history and the last time these Council seats were contested in 2021, it was pre-Johnson's Partygate scandals which saw their popularity plummet so the 2021 results saw them over achieve and they are expected to be handed a Royal spanking today with even Kemi Badenoch suggesting they could end the Night with half as many of the 43 Councils they started it with.
The ruling Labour Party have not began life as the Government with many successes and they are projected to lose 12 of the 36 they currently hold but the interesting feature will be where wil the seats go if the Big two are losing them?
On the Right is Nigel Farage and his Reform Party who are expected to snatch away the Conservative Votes and they are rejected to gain 23 seats to end the evening on 25 while the Left vote will be split between the Lib Dem's who currently have 7 seats and Greens who have 5 and estimates have them on 13 and 9 when the dust settles.
The Local Elections are always considered a safe time to log a protest vote so it isn't a fair representation of what to expect when the proper Elections roll around but if the results roll out as pollsters and opinion polls predict, it does seem to show that rather than being a two party system now with Labour and the Conservatives sharing turns in power, voters are looking outside of the usual suspects which I wouldn't generally consider a bad thing but it does mean a few days of Nigel Farage and his wonky face all over the media.
