The Blair Knighthood

So what do you give the man who deceived, cheated and lie to the public to invade another country which resulted in the death of a million civilians and did much to ignite terrorism around the World? Well if you are British you give him a Knighthood because that is exactly what The Government have handed to Former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
If Bliar as he became known, was wondering if with the distance of almost two decades the British public might finally be ready to forgive him for his role along with George W Bush in the Iraq War, he has got his answer which is a resounding no as in the 24 hours since it was announced, 250,000 people have signed a petition calling for the knighthood to be rescinded.
He has at least had the good sense to keep his head down since leaving Office, especially as last time he showed his face at a book signing he literally had to keep it down to dodge being pelted with shoes and eggs and crowds of people screaming war criminal at him.
Obviously not possessing enough common decency to turn down the award, he will bounce up to Buckingham Palace in the near future to claim it but if the Queen is struggling to think of a place to stick it, i can suggest somewhere.
