November Leave

From today until the 28th i will be using up all my annual leave in one go to go swanning off somewhere hopefully snowy and i have written a few posts and dated them to appear while i am tumbling down a ski-slope and doing that thing we do abroad to be understood which is speaking English but very slowly and loudly so the foreigners can understand me.
As well as all my work leave, i have also used up the remainder of my Special Guest Blogger Famous people and will probably be drawing them to a close as my co-writer has decided 713 is enough and their time is better spent not having to email me the details of dead celebrities just so i can (gently) mock them, which is fair, him being in the religion game and many Saints and religious folk being made to look less than reverent.
As some may have guessed, the people i feel deserve it got flowers on their headstone like Sylvia Plath, Leo Fender, Tolstoy, Bob Ross, John Glenn, Ada Lovelace, Natalie Wood, Roy Orbison, Plato and Hugo Chavez, while the rest i just left empty, no flowers for them, a final snub for being not worthy.
We decided that the last word should go to Queen Elizabeth II, i wanted it to be Mikhail Gorbachev or Olivia Newton John but it seemed fitting so we bumped them down to leave Lizzie to round things off.
So unless i am in traction after ski-ing into a tree or in a European Prison cell talking loudly and slowly to a foreign Police officer about phoning the British Consulate, i will be back on the 28th and into the brilliant Christmas run down.
