Chess. The ultimate meeting of minds where two of the very best strategists joust together, face to face across the 64 squares of the Chess Board, the panoply to encapsulate the unspoken nobility of competition in the time honoured tradition until the loser is vanquished and the victor tries not to squirm too excitedly
in his seat due to the anal beads.
Yep, you read that right because the Chess World is in turmoil due to a cheating allegation involving anal beads. Allow me to explain.
American Hans Niemann is the up and coming star of the game and has risen up the rankings to play World Champion Magnus Carlsen, a Norwegian chess grandmaster in the third round of the 2022 Sinquefield Cup, think World Cup but without any of the excitement, and things were not going well for the Norwegian, having lost his 53 match winning streak in the previous round when suddenly he stood up, declared he was quitting and stormed off and took his little horsey with him.
In the post match interview Carlson said of is decision: 'If I speak, I am in big trouble' but friends decided to speak for him and said that the Champ withdrew as he believed his opponent was cheating as Niemann had signals conveyed to him via anal beads.
Niemann addressed the situation by denying the allegations and offered to play the rest of the games naked in order to show people he wasn’t cheating so the viewers of the Sinquefield Cup could be watching naked chess for the rest of the tournament.
Unfortunately, nobody has explained how signals could possibly be conveyed through anal beads but the commentators will be careful in future when they talk about Niemann's favorite opening.
