Changing My MInd On Mixing Sport And Politics

As the atrocious bombing continues in Gaza, the United Nations is hamstrung by the United States veto which they yield at any criticism of the genocide Israel is conducting in Gaza but what can the International Community do when one of the rogue countries is protected by someone with a Veto?
I am not usually one to mix entertainment and politics but we have come to a point where a stand has to be made and until Netanyahu is in the ICC dock for his war crimes, we have to do something to show our displeasure and so enter Sport and Entertainment.
Fifa promised a prompt ruling on whether or not to impose sanctions on Israel’s national team for the actions of its government over a year ago , and we’re still waiting, the International Olympic Committee brushed off demands to ban Israel from the Olympics saying that they are not in the political business but Fifa and UEFA banned Russia from all competitions and the IOC banned Russia and Belarus athletes for breaching  the Olympic charter.
The Eurovision Song contest banned Russia from competing and although there was protests from spectators and participants last year and highly expected this year, Israel is allowed to carry on competing.
We know, or we should know, right from wrong so killing civilians is wrong and presiding over a famine while ethnically cleansing a whole nation is wrong and banning a nation committing genocide from joining in the 'fun things' with all the rest of the World should be the minimum and it shouldn't just be Israel or Russia.
Any nation that conducts a war, be it if the USA and UK getting all GW Bush and Tony Blair again or China if it goes into Taiwan or Sudan, Myanmar, Mali, Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan, Afghanistan and Pakistan should forfeit being able to play nice with the rest of the World because otherwise what's the point?
We need to show them that they may be able to get away with it on the political front but in the other spheres, not so much until they can behave like decent members of the Global Community.
