Ideal Age For Life's Milestones

There is no right age to reach life's great milestones, you get married, become a parent, buy a house and retire whenever you want or circumstances allow but the Pew  Global Attitudes Survey asked the citizens of 18 nations around the World and found that overall, there is a lot of agreement around the world about the ideal ages for major life events.
On average across the countries surveyed, people say the best age to have your first child is 25 years of age and get married at 25.9 years old and lets just say that it is an amazing quirk that the age of marriage is 9 months after giving birth.
The best age to buy a home is 24.9 and the best age to put your feet up and retire is 57 so globally, the ideal milestone route is is buy a home, have a child, get married and then retire but obviously there could be many factors involved such as having a secure enough job to gain a mortgage and meeting your future husband and falling pregnant before you are 26 but that is for another poll.
As for retirement, 57 sounds good as you are still young and fit enough to bugger off around the World or do those things you still want to do but you are going to need a  decent pension to give up work that early and afford to globe trot so maybe that's why it is an ideal and not reality.
