World Cup Final 2014

After 63 games, 170 goals, 13 penalties, 5 own goals, 183 yellow cards and 10 red cards it has come down to Argentina and Germany to play the final game to see who can officially call themselves the best football team in the World.
History shows that 7 South American teams have won the 9 World Cup finals played against European sides and a European side has never won the cup in the Americas.
Throw in the head-to-head record of 22 games played between Argentina and Germany, Argentina winning 10 and Germany 6 with the other 6 drawn and it's not looking good for the Germans.
On current form, Germany have scored 17 times in their 6 World Cup games and let in 4 while Argentina have scored 8 and let in 3 during their 6 so if my maths was any good i could work out what the final score will be but it isn't so i can't.
The last time they met in the final Germany won but in the only other previous final meeting, Argentina went home with the prize but ultimately it will all come down to the players and Germany have 3 Arsenal players and Argentina don't have any so it's a slam dunk, i agree with David Hasselfhoff and i'm backing Germany to win it.

perfect example of how data can be misused... sounds logical but the teams of the past have zero to do with these two teams
